Second Advisory Board Workshop

On the 4th of June 2026, the InnoBMS project hosted its second Advisory Board workshop. The 90-minute workshop included presentations and Q&A session on the following three topics:

  1. advanced functionalities for Edge, presented by our partner CIDETIC;
  2. advanced BMS hardware and integration with advanced sensors following ISO standards, presented by our partner FMF;
  3. and new cross-border HiL test methodology and initial CMB test results at Typhoon HIL, presented by our partner Typhoon HIL.

The presentations were followed by interactive Q&A sessions during which the Advisory Board members provided useful questions and comments on amongst others the EIS chip, and the wireless communication. The InnoBMS partners can use these inputs to decide on the cost aspects of some of the new advanced functionalities, and to look into the most efficient wireless communication options to connect the BMS to the cloud.

We want to extend a large thank you to all our Advisory Board members: Guenther Prochart (ViV), Stefan Kerber (Mathworks), Simon Clark (Sintef), Steven Wilkins (TNO), and Nicolas Goursot (UMotion).
