First Advisory Board workshop

On 13 May 2025, the InnoBMS project held its first online Advisory Board workshop. The main aim of the Advisory Board is to contribute to the definition of the InnoBMS use case requirements and provide feedback in bringing the InnoBMS solutions to the market. The first workshop focused on the first three milestone topics of the project, presented by three key partners:

  1. The requirements for the BMS architecture, V2G & defined use cases by BOSCH RO;
  2. The data management protocol and strategy by AVL;
  3. And the BMS E/E layout concept ready for implementation by FMF.

In the two-hour workshop, presentations on the three topics were followed by questions and comments from the AB members which provided valuable feedback for the ongoing activities within InnoBMS. For example,

  • useful comments were made concerning the upcoming regulations on the Battery Passport[1] and specifically the links to second life and second use which form an important part of the InnoBMS activities and targets.
  • feedback was given related to the role of the driver (e.g. user behavior in the SoC targets and battery behavior) as part of the requirements.
  • In the case of the E/E layout, some practical insights were given on the cost benefit analysis related to the EIS measurements.
